Welcome to Pennsylvania Association of Diabetes Educators

PennADE is an organization of Certified Diabetes Educators and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the education of persons with diabetes. PennADE is an affiliate of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE), a national organization dedicated to advancing the role of the diabetes educator and improving the quality of diabetes education and care.

The Purpose of PennADE is to:

Promote the growth and development of quality diabetes education.
Provide an atmosphere for the sharing of ideas, techniques, and materials associated with diabetes education.
Provide education to members on current trends in diabetes management.
Influence legislative and third party reimbursement activities in regards to diabetes education and management.
Serve as a resource to other organizations.
Support the mission/goals of the Parent organization, AADE
